What happened with Issue 9?
Some customers of the Star Trek collection received Issue 9 with an incorrect ship name printed on the model.
Has this been fixed?
Yes. Corrective items were automatically dispatched to all affected customers in the morning shipment. No customer action is required.
What correction will I receive?
Due to production constraints, two different correction methods were used:
- A reprinted corrected component
- A corrective sticker/overlay to amend the ship name
Both solutions are approved and valid corrections for the issue.
Why are there two different types of correction?
Because of production timing and limitations, it was not possible to re-cast all affected models at the factory. To avoid delaying deliveries, two approved corrective solutions were used depending on availability.
Can I request a specific correction type (reprint instead of sticker)?
No. The correction method cannot be chosen or exchanged. Both versions are part of the approved resolution and are considered equivalent fixes.
I received a sticker instead of a reprinted part. Is this correct?
Yes. Some customers will receive a sticker/overlay and others will receive a reprinted component. Both are correct and intentional solutions.
Can I get an additional replacement or different version?
No. The corrective item provided is a goodwill gesture issued to resolve the printing error. It is not part of a standard replacement process, and no additional replacements are available.
The sticker is not what I expected. Can it be replaced?
We understand this may not meet expectations. However, the corrective item issued is the final approved resolution for this issue and cannot be exchanged.
